Where Scrap comes from

  • The Junkyard. The official game page calls it dangerous; it is the main place to collect Scrap.
  • Codes. RELEASE, SCRAPKING and DRONES all include Scrap. See the codes page.
  • Dismantling robots. Dismantle in My Robots turns a robot into Scrap; a level 10 Buddy Robot gave 12. Only do it with robots you will never equip again.

Where Cash comes from

Every floor you win in the Arena pays Cash (and XP), so climbing is your steady income. Codes add one-off Cash on top: RELEASE, STEELFIGHTERS, TOSPACE, DRONES and ARENA all include it.

Under your Cash counter the game shows Friend Boost. It reads +0% when you play alone, so you can check at a glance whether the friend bonus is active.

What to spend them on

  1. New robots at your Craft Station whenever you have the parts. Robots are kept through rebirth.
  2. Levels for your three equipped robots, up to the cap (10 before your first rebirth, 20 after).
  3. Upgrades that make floor clears faster.
  4. Everything that is left before a rebirth: Cash and Scrap both go to 0, so a full balance is wasted.

Still being tested

We haven’t yet measured how much Scrap a Junkyard run gives per minute or which route is fastest. We will add real numbers here once we have timed it.
