How the floor climb works

In-game the floor climb is called the Arena, and it has its own Arena button, separate from PvP. Every floor is a single fight between your equipped robots and the floor’s enemy.

  • Fights play out automatically. You don’t control the robots; your build and levels decide the result.
  • Your team is your three equipped robots. Use Equip Best in My Robots to field your strongest three.
  • Every win pays XP and Cash, and the floors keep getting harder as you climb.
  • 2x speed: the button next to the floor counter doubles fight speed. Turn it on from the start.

Losing vs retreating

These two look similar but cost very different amounts:

What happensCost
Your robots lose a fightYou drop back one floor and keep climbing
You press RETREATYou go back to floor 0 and start the climb over

So let bad fights play out. A loss costs one floor; a retreat costs the whole climb. Only retreat when you actually want to restart from the bottom.

Floor milestones

FloorWhat happens
Floors 1–19Regular fights that get harder each floor
After floor 19First boss: Dreadbolt, introduced with a short cutscene
Floor 30Unlocks your first rebirth (x1.5 Cash and Scrap, level cap 20)

The rebirth panel counts the highest floor you have reached, so dropping a floor after a loss doesn’t undo your progress toward floor 30. We will add later bosses and milestones as we reach them.

Stuck on a floor? What to do

If you keep losing on the same floor, that floor is your current wall. Instead of retreating:

  1. Press Equip Best so your three strongest robots are fighting.
  2. Level your robots up to the cap (10 before your first rebirth, 20 after).
  3. Build new robots at your Craft Station whenever the game says you have the parts.
  4. Farm Scrap in the Junkyard to pay for upgrades, then come back.
  5. Redeem S3CRETC0DE for a permanent +10% Arena damage boost, and ARENA for an Arena Potion. See all codes.
  6. Play with friends for +50% Cash, which speeds up every upgrade.

Once you reach floor 30, spend your Cash and Scrap and rebirth. The higher level cap is the biggest jump in strength available early on.

The floor 20 boss

After floor 19 you meet Dreadbolt. The fight opens with a cutscene (“HAHAHA! Do you think you can beat me!?”) on a cracked yellow arena. Prepare as you would for any wall: Equip Best and level your team to the cap first. More in the bosses guide.
